Cassie Abraham is a photographer based on Ngunnawal, Ngunawal, Ngambri land. Canberra, Australia. Her work is grounded in observation, atmosphere, and detail. Her style is instinctive and documentary-led, through her work, Cassie aims to create photographs that are honest, intimate and immersive.

Raised in the suburbs of Canberra, her early surroundings shaped a sensitivity to the beauty in the mundane. She studied photography in Melbourne before spending five formative years in Stockholm, where she developed her visual voice while working alongside a community of artists and creatives. During this time, she produced personal projects, collaborated widely, and exhibited her work.

Alongside her practice, Cassie worked in hospitality — an experience that continues to inform her approach to photographing food, spaces, and the rituals that unfold within them. Since returning to Australia, she is now based in Canberra and working across Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane, with a focus on food & hospitality, portraiture, and events.

Living and working on the lands of the Ngunnawal and Ngambri people, whose land and sovereignty was never ceded.

Always was, always will be.
